Round three and London Calling Lounge is up for the count for fac51 The Hacienda at Sound Museum Vision on January 21^st.  Once again we will be hosting the Deep Room at Vision and showcasing some of the hottest local talent in Tokyo!  The main room will feature a DJ set by legendary guitarist, PETER HOOK of Joy Division and New Order fame.  One of the founders of The Hacienda is here himself to bring some of that Manchester vibe to Tokyo!

Keeping with the feel and energy of The Hacienda, London Calling Lounge is excited to bring you a night of DISCO DISCO DISCO!  This edition we bring you a line up that showcases the hottest producers and DJs from the Tokyo underground of House and Nu-Disco.  First, we are proud to bring to London Calling for the first time, the mastermind behind Crue-l Recordings – KENJI TAKIMI.  Renowned for his production and DJing, Kenji has jet setted all across the globe, but is here for us on this special occasion to deliver his cool disco vibes.  Also, joining the line up is DJ NORI who defines the word legend!  Making his second appearance after a storming set he performed for London Calling’s 3^rd Year Anniversary party at the infamous Trump Room nearly two years ago, we are absolutely sure that this time around he will once again, deliver a killer set!  Another returnee to grace our decks is Max Essa who has taken Tokyo by storm with his endless productions, which have seen him rise in the underground scene to trotting across Europe and Asia to DJ.  Finally, we have Das Moth a.k.a. Timothy Sullivan coming off an extensive touring and production schedule to make his first appearance at London Calling in a back-to-back set with our very own dirty munoz to end the night in climax of melody and beats… DISCO DISCO DISCO!!!

So, come join us on January 21^st at Sound Museum Vision for a day that will be long remembered in Tokyo as the day that Disco had it’s REVENGE!

1/21（土）sound museum VISIONで行われるfac51 The Haciendaにロンドン・コーリングが再び登場！第3ラウンドとなる今回もDEEPフロアをジャックし東京で最もホットなDJたちを紹介する。メインフロアにはJoy DivisionとNew Orderの伝説的なギタリスト、PETER HOOKがDJとして登場。The Haciendaを創ったメンバーの一人であるPETER本人がマンチェスターのヴァイブを東京に運んでくれるだろう。

The Haciendaの心意気と空気感をキープするため、ロンドン・コーリングは徹底的にディスコを追求！東京アンダーグラウンドのハウスとニュー・ディスコを代表するホットなDJ／プロデューサー達を見逃すな。その辺りの音といえばもちろんクルーエル・レコード。その主将、瀧見憲司がロンドン・コーリングに初登場！DJとしてもプロデューサーとしても世界的に知られる瀧見憲司氏はこのロンドン・コーリングのためにクールなディスコ・ヴァイブをドロップしてくれるだろう。そして「レジェンド」という言葉を体現するDJ NORI。あのTRUMP ROOMで開催されたロンドン・コーリングの3周年パーティでキラー・セットを披露し周囲を圧倒したDJ NORIがVISIONでのロンドン・コーリングに還ってくる。今回もまたDJ NORIらしいキラー・セットが期待される。ロンドン・コーリングに還ってくるもう1人のDJはMAX ESSAだ。MAXは止めどなく楽曲制作を続け東京のシーンを騒がせているだけでなく、ヨーロッパやアジアでも精力的にDJ活動を行っている。そして最後は忙しいツアーと制作のスケジュールをぬってロンドン・コーリングに初登場するDas Moth a.k.a. Timothy Sullivan。ロンドン・コーリングの顔、DIRTY MUNOZとのバック・トゥ・バック・セットでクライマックスはメロディとビートに酔いしれてもらいたい。これこそディスコ！

Tokyo’s leading U.K. event, LONDON CALLING returns to Sound Museum Vision in support of FAC51 HACIENDA’s night of the TWO TERRYS!  The infamous club from Manchester, the heart of Factory Records and the pulse of the Acid & Rave Generation a.k.a. MADCHESTER has asked us once again to host the lounge room for THE HACIENDA’S regular club night at Vision.

The Main Room will feature the legend of House… TODD TERRY!  More than any other producer, Todd Terry defined New York house during the ’80s, a varied sampladelic smorgasbord blending the sounds of classic disco, the more introspective Chicago sound pioneered earlier in the decade, plus plenty of hip-hop attitude and sampling piracy. And with two of the most respected crossover remixes of the house era (“I’ll House You” by the Jungle Brothers and “Missing” by Everythign But the Girl), Terry more than earned his title “Todd the God.”

The Lounge hosted by LONDON CALLING will feature DJ Royalty – TERRY FARLEY!  Hailing from London and, who along with Pete Heller, formed JUNIOR BOYS OWN.  They made their names as remixers and, when they formed Junior Boys Own, began making records under the names Roach Motel and Fire Island.  From here both have gone on to remix some of the world’s leading artists from New Order and U2 to mixing the Happy Monday’s and Primal Scream at the height of balaerica.  We are proud to have Terry, a leading protagonist of the UK club scene since the acid house days, grace the decks of London Calling for the first time on December 3rd!  Also gracing the decks for the first time are supporting DJs… Andre Mcleod who will open the night with a soothing deep set to warm the night up.  Followed by DJ Shibata, a regular at Tokyo’s hottest underground club Oath, to raise the roof up for Terry!  Rounding the night off we have the duo of Nebu Soku from Solid bringing their signature house sound to the dance floor and finally we have our resident bad boy dirty munoz to close out the night with alot of dirt!

A night of THE TWO TERRYS on December 3rd @ Vision is a night not to be missed!

Tokyo’s leading U.K. event, LONDON CALLING is back along with the return of FAC51 HACIENDA!  The infamous club from Manchester, the heart of Factory Records and the pulse of the Acid & Rave Generation a.k.a. MADCHESTER has asked us to host the lounge room for THE HACIENDA’S return to Tokyo at one of the hottest clubs to open in recent years… VISION!
We are extremely excited to be offered this opportunity and to share it with you… the heart and soul of London Calling!  As we have shown all these years, London Calling has continued to faithfully base itself upon the U.K.’s underground club scene which has consistently pioneered new sounds, urban movements and social scenes as well as adhering to the punk ethos of DIY that was so passionately expressed by the Clash.  So, to be asked to host the Lounge for THE HACIENDA is an honor since we have modeled ourselves after this club as well as a few others from the U.K.

The Main Room will feature the legends of House… The BASEMENT JAXX!  Yes, the British electronic dance duo from London, England consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe will storm into Tokyo for one night of musical madness.  The dynamic duo of the UK House movement of the late 1990’s are here for a special DJ set that will showcase some of their biggest anthems intertwined with new and original tunes!  Also along for the ride is JUSTIN ROBERTSON, a  DJ known for his eclectic sounds of Balearic, Hard House, and Big Beat.  Yes, the Lionrock mainman who was schooled on the Hacienda dancefloor is here to share his musical knowledge for the discerning Tokyo clubber for this special night.

The Lounge hosted by LONDON CALLING will feature a slew of DJ duos ready to battle on the decks for this special night at Vision.  So, by keeping with the theme of the night, the DJs in the lounge will push the musical boundaries that are pulsating from the underground scene while at the same time dropping some nostalgic tunes from the hey day of The Hacienda!  Yes, each DJ duo will place the stakes higher and higher as the dancefloor melts away into a frenzy of happy ravers!  First off we have the DJ duos of…  SHOTARO MAEDA vs DR. SHINGO – Two legends of the Tokyo Techno scene squaring off for some blistering beats of Now and Then.  Then we have TOTAL M (a.k.a. MILES MAEDA) vs JAY ZIMMERMANN – A mixture of Acid and House that might make you candy flip into another dimension!  Continuing on the same vibe of House gone mad are BBC vs ARON T – two bad boys who’s love of house music will put the X in SEX!  Finally, the dirt… MARK BIRTLES vs dirty munoz – Tokyo Indie’s main man up against our resident bad boy have been tearing up Tokyo as a duo are bound to leave you scratching that itch you can’t scratch!

Yesh, TRASH is back and we are ready for Duty! The Summer fuel has been spent from our landfill, our home, the dirtiest place in Shibya… ROCKWEST! All gone! The boys of summer have left us in a crisis of mass proportions! More filth is required to generate the methane fuel needed to keep our trucks moving to collect your dirt. So, no better way to start off a new season of grime then to introduce another round of TRASH. First, we have a special guest that I can’t just name now because you might soil yourselves and we are not quite ready to handle your business as of yet. So, let me introduce some badness from East London…STITCH! A real nasty fellow with a bag of filth that will leave you in the trash compactor of the Death Star. Along side him will be Mr. Tikini with his signature sleazy delectable vocal delights! And BACK for another round is our main man ALEX EINZ who is no stranger to the most funked up dirty techno beats from the Tokyo underground by way of Phonika! Also we bring for the first time, a dirty newcomer on the block, DJ Tai Soulseek to bring some Beatforce vibes to TRASH! Finally, we have our resident bad boys… Aron to the T and dirty to the M to slap you in the face with some high octane gorilla meat chud pumped from the bowels of ROCKWEST!

Andrew Hogge, better known as Lovefingers, needs little introduction amongst the global disco elite. His internationally acclaimed mix of 999 songs at lovefingers.org has had an undeniable impact on the burgeoning eclectic dance scene of today.

A Los Angeles native, Andrew hosted Blackdisco Social Club since 2001 before heading off to New York City where he resides today. Andrew runs the Blackdisco imprint, a well known edits series which finds its releases in the bags of top jocks like DJ Harvey, James Murphy and Todd Terje. Apart from solo endeavors, Andrew is one half of the production/DJ duo The Stallions, alongside long-time disco cohort Lee Douglas of Rong Music and DFA.

ロサンゼルス出身のAndrew は、現在の拠点であるニューヨークに移り住む前、2001年からBlackdisco Social Clubというパーティを主催。そして現在、有名なエディット・シリーズ作品をリリースするBlackdisco を運営。DJ Harvey、James Murphy、Todd TerjeといったトップDJらもプレイすることで知られるレーベルだ。また、ソロ活動以外では、Rong MusicやDFAのLee Douglasとデュオを組み、The Stallionsとしても活躍中。

This year Lovefingers also launched the label ESP Institute, turning the dance scene upside down with a roster of forward-thinking artists and unfamiliar sounds. The label has without-a-doubt hit the ground running, achieving almost instant cult status via its slew of massive releases including Lovefingers’ Concentration – Volume I.

Jack Dunning aka Untold is currently releasing some of the finest boundary pushing music around, simultaneously blasting dancefloors and attracting worldwide critical acclaim. Picked up in early 2008 by Hessle Audio, his Kingdom EP was the third release of the then fledgling imprint, introduced a sonic palate that was nuanced, understated but with bags of bass weight.

Jack Dunning、別名Untoldは、音楽を際どいラインまでいじった作品をリリースし、そして爆発的にダンスフロアを沸かせ、グローバルシーンで熱いサポートを受けている。2008年初めにHessle Audioに見いだされ、彼のレーベルから第３弾としてKingdom EPがリリースされた。控えめだが分厚いベースで、繊細なニュアンスの音感を表現し話題となった。

2009 unfolded with a slew of essential remixes for 2nd Drop and Planet Mu, alongside original material on Hotflush and Brainmath. Jack’s largest body of work has been the 6 track EP on his own Hemlock label. The Gonna Work Out Fine Ep was a collection of tracks that pushed the genre boundaries by showcasing Jack’s wider musical palate by infusing classic house keys, ravey synths of laterday hardcore jungle as well as giving his twisted take on dark garage on this seminal Ep.

2009年はHotflush や Brainmathといったレーベルからオリジナル楽曲を発表したと同時に、2nd Drop や Planet Mなどのリミックスも発表。Jackの代表作といえば、自身のHemlockレーベルから出ている6 track EPである。The Gonna Work Out Fine EPは、クラッシクハウスやハードコア、ジャングル、レイビーなシンセなどを取り入れ、彼の幅広い音楽センスを表現している。

2011 holds further promise. Having just remixed Ke$ha’s #1 Hit “Tik Tok”, and signed a collaboration with Roska to Numbers this past year and more releases on Hemlock of his own material is a given. Jack continues to show his A&R spurs with the likes of Mount Kimbie, James Blake, Cosmin TRG and Ramadanman gracing the label.

We are excited to announce UNTOLD’s first official appearance in Japan with the support of some of Tokyo’s hottest acts of dubstep, D’n B and Electro! Making his first appearance at London Calling is DJ Aki from the famous 0S3 parties held at WOMB. Summer has arrived and along with it has come the Heat and the Rain, but the TRASH has continued to pile up. The grime and the filth can’t be washed away or burned from the summer rays… Nope! The dirt stays and we bring you another TRASH with a line up so dirty that we’ve reached far across the land to bring you an array of DJs that have left muck from station to station as they prepare for their assault on the only place to be in Tokyo – Rockwest! The crown jewel of Dirt and home of TRASH! An event not to be missed as Trash follows London Calling’s 4 Year Anniversary as it’s official after party with special guests Miles Maeda hailing from the dirt capitol of House Music on the West Coast of Cali – San Francisco! Also returning to the decks to drop some filthy techy beats is Groove Patrol from Eggworm as well as introducing DJ Ettoo from one of Tokyo’s longest and most dirtiest Tech events – Eden! “SPRING into TRASH”

Winter is slowly fading away and Spring is fast upon us, but the TRASH never disappears! The onslaught of filth and grime continues to pile onto a strong foundation of muck! With the success of our 3 Year Anniversary added to our long list of infamous nights at Rockwest we come back quickly with a long awaited combination with London Calling as it’s official after party! This time around we feature our very first Trash guest from 3 years ago… J. SAINTIL who is back from his native London to put down another layer of grime on the decks of Rockwest!!! We are proud to team him up with Force of Nature’s very own DJ KENT who is just a force of naturally dirtiness that can only be categorized as a new element… DIRT! Also added to the roster is Luc Le Corre from London’s Chorus+Echo! Luc, no stranger to the underbelly of the dance music scene makes his Tokyo debut with a fervor of a cold miner hitting a pocket of natural gas!

BOOM!!!

Also returning to Trash is Reki who has been a constant presence in the late night scene as well as residents Aron T and dirty munoz bringing their shovels and picks to dig deeper into the bedrock!

もうすぐ季節は春、そして冬の寒さも徐々に消えつつあるが…、TRASHが消えてなくなることはない！　それどころか大量のゴミや埃の堆積で、ますます強 固な汚物の土台を築いている。そのTRASHが、Rockwestでの数々の不名誉な夜や、３周年アニバーサリーの成功を収めた結果、待ちに待った London Callingとのコラボで戻ってくる！　今回は、３年前のTRASHの最初のゲスト、J. SAINTILをフューチャー。彼はロンドンよりRockwestのデッキに新たなゴミを積みにやってくるのだ!!!　また、彼とForce of NatureのDJ／プロデューサーでもあるDJ KENTがチームを組むことが光栄でならない。DJ KENTは、まさに新しいエレメンツ’DIRT’に分類される、ナチュラルダーティネスのフォース（エネルギー）であることは間違いない。さらには、ロン ドンからChorus+EchoのLuc Le Correも参加！　Lucはアンダーベリー・ダンスミュージックシーンに精通していて、彼の東京でのデビューを例えるなら、鉱山内のナチュラルガス・ス ポットにひと振り、ドカーーン!!!と大爆発、というものであった。　もう一人、TRASHに戻ってくるのはReki。彼はレジデントDJのAron Tやdirty Munozと同様、レイトナイトシーンの顔で、常にシャベルやピック片手に、岩盤を深く掘り続けている一人だ！

The landfill is massive! 3 years of grime and filth have piled up with countless killer beats that have laid waste to Tokyo’s after hours scene. With the help of some of this city’s dirtiest DJs as well as some International help directed by the U.N. Council of Health and Safety, Trash has become a global epidemic. Leaders from around the world have put their attention on the dirtiest place on Earth – ROCKWEST – the home of TRASH! Yes, the glory of our dirtiness is centered in the heart of Shibuya and we are thrilled that YOU and renowned collectors of dirt such as Monika Kruse, In Flagranti, J. Saintil, Cormac and Disco Blood Bath have all bathed in the grime that is TRASH!

ごみ廃棄場は満杯に！3年間のゴミと汚れは、東京のアフターアワーズシーンを荒らす 数え切れないほどの強烈なビートと共に蓄積していった。そしてこの街のダーティなDJらの支援や、国連安全衛生委員会による国際援助により、TRASHは世界的な流行病となったのだ。世界中のリーダー たちは地球上の最も汚れた場所、TRASHのホー ムであるROCKWESTに注目。そう、ダーティな光は渋谷の中心部にあった。Monika Kruse、 In Flagranti、J. Saintil、Cormac、Disco BloodBathの名立たる廃棄物収拾者らが、そしてあなたが、TRASHの汚れを浴びると思うと興奮せずにはいられない

This time around we are happy to have one of Tokyo’s dirtiest DJs making his first appearance for Trash – Q’hey! Returning for his 4th time around is Shotaro Maeda who’s dirtiness we just can’t seem to get enough of! Just added to clean up duties are two returnees from the Trash bin archives – Nick Clarke a DJ well known for his sleazy techy beats from Phonika fame and Jay Zimmerman our favorite San Franciscan who is no stranger to late night filth. Of course resident bad boys on Garbage detail are Aron T and dirty munoz, BUT stay tuned because we are adding more DJs to be added to the bill! This is an all out party that we hope to keep going late into the afternoon!!!

今回は、東京のダーティDJの一人、Q’heyを初めてTRASHに迎えられた。そして４度目の登場は、 そのダーティさを何度も見せて欲しいShotaro Maedaである。加えて、清掃当番としてゴミ保管庫より戻ってくる のは、Phonica からの低俗テッキービートで有名なDJ、Nick Clarkeと、サンフランシスコ出身の汚れた深夜の常連者Jay Zimmermanの二人。もちろん、廃棄物の中からレジデント・バッドボー イズのAron T とdirty munozも登場するけれど、それだけにとどまらず、次々とDJが現れるので目を離さないで!!　この疲れ知らずのダーティパーティは、お昼を過ぎても続く かもね!!!

London Calling is coming to KOREA!

We are in the process of locking down a date and venue for Korea in the New Year. After returning from Busan, Korea last October, our resident DJ, Mike Munoz pulled off an amazing set at Club Maktum and put the ball in motion for London Calling to premiere in Seoul, Korea.

We are all excited about this great opportunity for London Calling to come to Korea and introduce it’s sound to a whole group of clubbers that just want to DANCE!!!

‘London Calling’が韓国に！私たちLondon Callingは韓国にてニューイヤーイベントを行う予定です。日程と開催地は検討中。去年１０月に釜山イベントから戻った後で、我らがセクシーかつダーティなレジデントDJ・MunozはClub Maktumにて驚異的な音楽を披露した結果、ソウルイベントのチャンスを摑みました！
